What's newSpring 2025: Last summer, Trails sent me to the high reaches of the Absaroka Mountains in Wyoming to report on one of my favorite topics: what happens when wildlife and humans start rubbing elbows a little too closely. In this case, the wildlife are grizzly bears gathering by the dozens, and the humans are hikers looking to watch them. What could go wrong? But the species at risk here might not be the one you think. Trails is print only, so you'll have to subscribe to read it (and it's well worth it).
